1-2-3 Go! Yeah, again...

Early December snow in Colorado Springs -- 5" -- and -10 degrees at night.

I'm giving up a White Christmas (or at least the potential of having one) for a suntan -- courtesy of the Middle East and my new employer.  Haven't been back in the ME for 2 1/2 years.  Can't say that I'm excited to return.  There's way too may sacrifices to bear.  Leaving the warmth of home, a wife, and a life behind gets harder each time I deploy.  I've sworn that this will be my last...and I really mean it.  I really just want to retire.  

But, this deployment to Saudi Arabia will accomplish all my remaining professional goals and all of my personal financial goals.  I'll have no mortgage, have only new cars, will refurbish the house, and will have money left in the bank.  All I intend to do once I'm back for good is to day trade and drink.  Oh, and travel -- this time with my wife.  I leave in two days to begin this next adventure.
